Brief Intro about PMS Exams
Provincial Management Service (PMS) Exams are conducted at provincial levels by the respective Public Service Commission i.e. Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC), Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), Baluchistan Public Service Commission (BPSC), and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Service Commission (KPPSC). In Federal Area, FPSC (Federal Public Service Commission) conducts tests for the Islamabad Capital Territory.
PMS test is conducted by the PPSC every year to fill the vacant positions in different districts of Punjab. It is worth mentioning that PPSC conducts tests only on those vacant posts which are equal to or above BPS-16. The recruiting tests for vacant posts in BPS-01 to BPS-15 are carried out by the concerned department or testing services i.e. NTS (National Testing Service), ATS (Allied Testing Service), PTS (Pakistan Testing Service), and CTS (Candidates Testing Service), etc.
PMS Exams Schedule
There is no exact Schedule of PMS exams. It depends upon the situation of vacant posts in different districts of Punjab. If we observe the history of the schedule f past papers of PMS, then we are in a position to say that PMS exams are mostly held in the months of September and October.
The schedule of FPSC, CSS, PPSC, BSPC, SPSC, and KPPSC is totally different compared to other testing services like NTS, OTS, PTS, etc. PMS tests are conducted to full the authoritative and decision-making posts in the entire province; therefore PPSC conducts the objective as well as subjective tests.
The PMS test will not be held in one day. On a day, the exam of only one subject is allowed. For example, if you apply for PMS exams, your English paper will be on 2nd October, Urdu exam on 4th October, Islamic Studies and Ethics on 8th October, etc.

The age limit set for PMS is between 21 to 28 years. You can participate in PMS exams if you are 21 or above 21 and below 28. However, the concession on age to the already government-serving employees is granted according to age relaxation rules.
