Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department

Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department is the only self-fund generating department of the govt. of Punjab. It generates its funds from the shrines donations, rental income from commercial and residential, and leases of agricultural land. These funds are utilized to provide health facilities, educational amenities, academic scholarships, and social welfare of the department’s employees.

The Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department also maintains 14 dispensaries and 1 hospital in Punjab including Data Shifakhana at Masjid Wazir Khan, Data Shifakhana at Hazrat Bibi Pak Daman, Data Shifakhana at Shahdara Town, and Data Shifakhana in Multan, Pakpattan, and Ghulam Farid Kot Mithan.

Qualification Experience for the Post of Manager Auqaf

The minimum required qualification for the post of Manager Auqaf is a Graduation degree (2nd Division) from any University by Higher Education Commission with 3 years experience in Social Work or Public Administration in a reputable organization.

Age Criteria for the Post of Manager Auqaf

The age limit set of PPSC exams for the Post of Manager Auqaf, Auqaf, and Religious Affairs Department, is as follows.

The age limit for male candidates is 21 to 30 years and in case of relaxation, the age limit for the male candidates would be 33 years.

The age limit for female candidates is 21 to 30 years and in case of relaxation, the age limit for females would be 38 years.

Domicile and Place of Posting

The candidates having domicile from any district of Punjab are eligible to apply. Candidates having domicile from other provinces are not eligible to apply. After selection, successful candidates will be posted in Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department, Lahore, or anywhere in Punjab.

Subject and Syllabus by PPSC for the Post of Manager Auqaf

One Paper of MCQs format written test containing 100 marks in the duration of 90 minutes will be conducted. The subjects are General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, Islamic Studies, Basic Mathematics, Geography, Current Affairs, English and Urdu, Everyday Science, and Basic Computer Studies.

Negative Marking: The negative marking will be done and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer of MCQs.

How to Apply for the Post of Manager Auqaf?

PPSC exams are conducted every year by PPSC (Punjab Public Service Commission) to fill the authoritative posts (Vacant posts in BPS-16 or above) in different districts of Punjab. The advertisements are published in major newspapers by PPSC i.e. Jang, Express, Nawa e Waqt, etc.

After the publication of the advertisement, you can apply for PPSC exams through the online system. No one is allowed to send their application via postal or by hand. All candidates can submit their application forms online. The application form along with a complete guideline for online submission of applications is available on the official website of PPSC.

Before submissions of application forms, you have to submit the required fee (which will be given in advertisement and form will be available on the PPSC website) in any branch of State Bank and National Bank of Pakistan.
